Diaper Cake

My sister is having her baby next week! Wahoo!! Yippee!! I can't wait to hold her!! :) I attempted to be crafty and make a diaper cake .. it was my first one. Next time I will know better what to do and what not to do ... but here's what it looks like ...

Headbands that don't result in Headaches!

So .. when I went to the "What a woman wants show" in Ogden a little while back I bought a headband ... and I LOVE it! It's the only headband that I can wear that I don't get headaches with. Sadie got to see Santa!

Last Friday we went to my parents ward party .. Sadie got to see Santa! She asked for a "Wii" and a "Cupcake Maker". Sadie's dad picked her up for his weekend after the party .. I made sure to tell him that I had told Santa that we didn't want a "Wii" at our house so he knew that she wanted one for his house .. lol ... :) I think they are fun .... but I don't want one at my house right now .. we already are in front of the TV to much!

Dance Recital

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth ....

WOW! Sadie pulled out her own tooth today! She kept wiggling it, I offered to pull it out but she told me no. She disappeared into the bathroom and came out with kleenex's in her mouth. She pulled it out herself! :) Wahoo!! 2nd lost tooth! Now she's missing her two front bottom teeth.

We painted some little ornaments yesterday, she has picked one out to leave with her tooth to give to the tooth fairy.

Useless information

So ... on Saturday I cut about 3 inches off of my hair .... and today ... I cut bangs. Not so sure about the bangs ... I haven't had them in FOREVER. Hmm .... We'll see if I like them or not. Ha ha .. Anyways .. useless information for you!

Sadie's Room Is Done! :)

Snoring ... zzzzzz

I am done painting Sadie's room, now I've got to arrange it all and try to de-junk. Which is absolutely traumatizing for a 5 year old. So ... I will probably conquer that this weekend while she is with her daddy :( I miss her so much when she is gone! Anyways .. Sadie has been sleeping in my room (she ends up there most nights halfway thru the night anyways) ... but it's so cute. She's snoring in the background of me typing this post. lol Sometimes I have to tickle her face just enough to get her to slightly wake up so I can go back to sleep. Oh yah .. and then there is Spike ... he's been sleeping in my room too ... WOW ... he snores bad too! And just think, I want a man? Men tend to snore pretty bad too ... ha ha ... but yah .. I still want one. :)

(Oh and we are trying these new pillow curlers we got from Avon in Sadie's hair tonight ... they are soft enough to sleep on!)

Painting, painting, and more painting!

I painted the kitchen yellow last week. Sadie and I have started to paint her room today. It's going to be purple. :) Sadie loves to help and she even discovered she could practice her writing while we paint .. ha ha .. she wrote her name ... cat .. and rat ... sometimes her letters are backwards, but she is learning!

After we finish painting her room then we only have to do mine! :) It sure feels nice to have a fresh coat of paint on the walls. I don't think the condo has been painted at all since they were built. I've been here almost four years ... and who knows if I will be here ten more ... it's nice to have it look better!

We will have a visitor tonight ... the Toothfairy!

Sadie has had a wiggly tooth and it finally came out today!! Wahoo!! Yipppeee!!! WOW!! Sadie has been showing everyone just how wiggly her tooth has been. Today we were out at my parents house for dinner and my dad pulled out the pliers ... which scared little Sadie to death! She ran in the back and was crying alligator tears! So the heroic mommy went back and cuddled her ... then I got a kleenex and tugged on the tooth .... and .... it popped out! LOL I don't think Sadie knew exacly what to think about it! But then she got super excited! Her cousins helped her write a cute note to the Toothfairy ... I had to scan it in because it's just so CUTE!

Autumn Leaves

Sadie is so LUCKY to have such FABULOUS grandparents! After a full day of shopping with Grandma Diane and Me, Sadie got to play in the leaves at Grandmas (and Grandpas) House! Grandma Diane went and got the rakes and made a BIG pile of leaves for Sadie to RUN and JUMP into! Then Sadie talked Grandma into playing in them too!!! :) SO MUCH FUN!!! Sadie is so lucky to have such SPECTACULAR grandparents that are so willing to PLAY with her!!!! (PLUS they have her 90% of the time too!!!! THANK YOU for taking care of her when I am at work!!)

Halloween Fun!

We had a FUN Halloween! I took the day off to be able to play with Sadie Bug! :) She was a fairy princess this year. We got her all dolled up and Sadie went to School. Grandma and I went and saw her at school in her "parade". That night we went to Grandma Diane's ward where they had activities for the kids and Trunk or Treat. Then we ventured out and went from door to door around the town. Sadie had a fun time and came home with lots of goodies! So far her favorite things are the pretzels she got from our fabulous neighbor Lori (who scared Sadie really bad because she was dressed up as a witch) and she really likes the Halloween Pencils! I just need to stay away from her chocolate ... lol ... Click below and watch the slide of pictures!....

Weekend

Sadie had a fun Friday! She got to go play with her friends at Daycare in the morning (she goes to Daycare on Friday's and plays at grandma's the rest of the week). Then after school grandma picked her up and took her back to get her ready for her friend's costume birthday party! Sadie is going to be a fairy this year. Sadie got to go and play at the Birthday party and make haunted houses out of gingerbread ... play games ... and take home lots of fun prizes! Then she came home and cuddled with her mommy before she went to her school carnival with her daddy (it's his weekend .. I miss her!). Here's a few pictures of her from Thursday night ... we tried on everything to make sure it would work well ...

I had a pretty full weekend, I went to dinner and saw Saw V Friday night with one of my good friends. On Saturday I met Sheri and her mom at El Matador .. yummy!!! And then we went over to the "What A Woman Wants" Expo. It was so much fun! And then that evening I went over to Aimee's house and had dinner and watched everyone play cards. I could've played ... but I'm not so good at it ... they were playing poker and I kept looking at the cards thinking they were playing 21 .. ha ha! Good thing I wasn't playing otherwise I would've lost my $$. Today I am trying to get some things done around the condo ... I've paid bills ... doing loads of laundry .. cleaning .. all that fun stuff. Ha ha!

Beverly Hills Chihuahua

Sadie, one of her friends, and I went over to the movie theater tonight and saw Beverly Hills Chihuahua. It was a pretty good movie and I did laugh out loud. It's a good kids movie for sure. When it comes out on video we will probably buy it so Spike can watch it with Sadie too! :)

Pictures I meant to post earlier

Here are some pictures that I meant to post earlier! Grandpa Butch and JoAnne came up from Texas for a visit. Here's a great picture of Grandpa, JoAnne, and Sadie.

And then here are some other pictures that I couldn't help but take .. Sadie had a VERY long day and was very emotional! She was so SAD for no reason! I kept taking pictures of her and she would hide from the camera so I couldn't get her lip sticking out ... she even gave me the hand.

I like my doggie

I just got out of the bathtub and found Spike laying on my pillows from my bed ... lol ... he's a pretty good dog. He puts up with Ms Sadie teasing him alot!!!! He's a good friend .... or in Sadie's instance .. he's a good "brother"!

Good Friends!

It was a friend weekend for sure! Friday night I went with Lori, Tysha, Melissa, and a few other girls out to see the movie "The Women". It was an "ok" movie, but it was more fun to spend time with friends!

Saturday I went shopping with my mom and spent way to much money on things I really shouldn't have even bought. LOL

Sunday I met up with Sheri, Camie, and Courtney for a girls lunch at Chili's. Where was Baby Oakley?! Seriously .. Camie left her at home with Jordan. What was she thinking!?

And then today (Monday) it was Kobe night with the Flying J girls (Aimee, Ashley, Jamie, Carrie, Heidi ... MIA Sheila). It was fabulous!

Next week it's Bunko and Card Exchanges .... :)

A New Do

Sadie got a new haircut yesterday! The all amazing Kim at Styles and Files did it for her! :) Sadie sat down in the chair, Kim asked her how she wanted it, and Sadie replied "Like my grandma's". LOL She has been wanting to get her hair cut like Grandma Dianes for along time. :) We had Kim cut it to her shoulders and add some light layers. It looks super cute!!!!





Last night Sadie had Kelsey and Lexi sleep over ... can I just say that I am tired? :) Kylee stayed until about 9 and then went home with her mom and dad ... scaredy cat. LOL
